Lindroos Architects, together with Sitowise designed entrances to new pedestrian and bicycle connection below Helsinki Central Railway Station. Canopy at the east entrance creates a new smooth transition from built city to historical Kaisaniemi Park. West entrance adapts itself to new urban Kansalaistori square. The site is located on listed built cultural environment (RKY).
A wooden, protected former Elanto storage is transformed into a single family house. Carefully studied interior has a contemporary twist, yet still keeping character of the 1920’s building. Existing facades are restored to their original state. The site is situated within listed built cultural environment (RKY) in Käpylä, Helsinki.
Garden – Center for Finnish Fashion is focused on showcasing central names on the Finnish fashion. Projects spatial and functional requirements are tarnsformed into a simple grid layout allowing flexible program split and expansion of stores. The grid forms an infrastructural backbone, where one square forms one rental unit.
